Assembly Pt 1.

Sew the top row of the beak between rounds 11-12, just between the eyes. Then sew the bottom of the beak between rounds 12-13. Leave your yarn tail for now, we will secure it after the next step.

Step 1: Sew the beak onto the head:

Place the head on the body to get an idea of where youā€™d like to sew it down. When you find the placement you like, use sewing pins to give yourself a guide to sew along. Then sew the body onto the head. Make sure you donā€™t forget to add additional stuffing to the neck area before completely sewing the head and body together. Bring your yarn tail out of the same stitch as your other yarn tail (from the beak) and tie them together. Tuck your ends in and youā€™re all set!

Step 2: Sew the body onto the head:

Assembly Pt. 2

Step 1: Sew the feet onto the body:

Sew the feet onto the body between rounds 4-5, about 5 stitches apart, making sure to center the feet with the face. To sew on the feet, you will want to pinch the opening of the feet shut, and then sew through both sides of the opening. There are 6 stitches total in the opening of the feet, so you will sew the feet on with 3 whip stitches. Secure your ends together after sewing both your feet on.

Step 2: Sew the wings onto the body:

Sew the wings onto the body between rounds 17-18, about 11 stitches apart, making sure to center the feet with the face. To sew on the wings, you will want to pinch the opening of the wings shut, and then sew through both sides of the opening. There are 6 stitches total in the opening of the wings, so you will sew the wings on with 3 whip stitches. Secure your ends together after sewing both wings on.

Step 3: Sew the frog eyes onto the frog hat:

Sew the frog eyes onto the frog hat. The top of the frog eyes are sewn between rounds 3-4, and get sewn down 5 rounds, making the bottom of the frog eyes sewn between rounds 8-9. Weave in your ends into the inside of the hat.
